Low Carb Info:
People can say what they want about eating
low-carb, but it's worked for me. I'm listing the two sites below
because I've found them to be extremely helpful for motivation,
information, and daily intake tracking. Both offer free membership & I
hope they're useful to those who are interested.
FitDay.com:
a
wonderful site where you can sign up at no charge and track your food
intake, calories burned, and more. This site works for any type
of diet and will calculate your fat, calories, carb intake, protein,
etc. If you're trying to lose weight (or follow any specific food
intake regimen)...this is a wonderful site!!! It takes a little while
to figure out how to make entries quickly, but it's worth the small
effort required! You can even enter your current weight, goal weight,
and deadline for when you want to reach goal...and it'll tell you how
much you need to lose per week. Can't say enough good things about this
site!
Active Low-carber Forums:
A
great site where you can keep a journal and prowl a huge selection of
forum categories which offer information, support, motivation, etc.
Specialty forums for those with diabetes, fibromyalsia, thyroid
disease, over 50's group, and more can also be found here. This forum
is very active and has members who are new to low-carbing, those
who've been doing it awhile, and those who've reached goal and are
maintaining.
Dreamfields Pasta:
The only one worth buying (personal
opinion). Low-carb and your family won't know the difference! (swear)
